  Re: B.I. Joe Skyhawk

(...) Bah! Spam the boards - the masses grow weary of Larrygate. -nk p.s. - The Skyhawk was my second-favorite vehicle of all time, behind the Snowspeeder - and your rendition is great. I really like the tail & choice of canopy - it always drove me (...) (20 years ago, 25-Aug-04, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.military)

  Re: B.I. Joe Skyhawk

Instead of spamming the boards with responses due to my ingrained laziness, perhaps I'll just collect them here... GA: totally...it was the perfect 'car trip' vehicle. a little tip o' the combat helmet to the skid pile-on feature of the original..a (...)   AFV building spree

Over the past few weeks I've been trying to expand my collection of ground vehicles. The results can be seen here after moderation: (URL) in my Teaser folder after moderation here: (URL) new MOCs are the venerable M113 APC, the much feared ZSU-23-4 (...)   Re: Belville Fig of Death

(...) Ok, that good. :) (...) Thanks! I wish I could, the size was based on the Kill Bill movie picture I found with google and it was small so I had to shrink the Belville Fig. :( And with a bigger picture one could more easily se my bad editing of (...)   Re: B.I. Joe Skyhawk

This isn't my favorite BIJoe model, but it's stil pretty cool. Neat decals as usual. Every little bit of playability you fit into your mocs is, I'm sure, the result of minutes/hours of tinkering with bricks. The engine swivel is pretty neat, in fact (...)   Re: B.I. Joe Skyhawk

(...) That's lovely, really. Lovely in its own right; I'm still not convinced by the canopy geometry, though (can anyone every fully be, given how unique the original is?). The color scheme is dead perfect, though. I'd love to see you tackle the (...) (20 years ago, 24-Aug-04, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.military, FTX)

  Re: B.I. Joe Skyhawk

(...) Oh, definitely. When I was a kid, all of my G.I. Joes were space heroes! And Cobra, space invaders. This belongs in .space for sure. By the way, this is the best. This model instantly at first glance conforms with the original. And since it is (...) (20 years ago, 23-Aug-04, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.military, FTX)

  Re: B.I. Joe Skyhawk

(...) That is AWESOME! If I could have thought of this when I was growing up I would have begged my mom for Lego instead of the actual GI Joe toys. Great work in every aspect of the MOC. Take care. (20 years ago, 23-Aug-04, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.military, FTX)

  Re: B.I. Joe Skyhawk

(...) As always, great work! I've actually started playing with design elements for one of these myself. In fact, I think I'm going crazy...   Re: B.I. Joe Skyhawk

(...) Ya, it was improbable... but dang if it wasn't cool. Yer version is quite space. *sniff*... oh the memories of backyard battles and all the neighborhood kids bringin' all their joes for a cobra smackdown. (there was that one wierdo kid who (...)   Re: B.I. Joe Skyhawk

(...) Yay! Skyhawk! This is one of the all-time great Joe vehicles. Small enough to be very whooshable, yet big enough to carry at least 3 figures (if you put a couple guys on the skids) It had guns, it had missiles, it had swiveling engines. It was (...)
