dude, nice job! in spite of all the ideas you got from other mecha styles, this
one amalgam seems to be one of the most original as a whole. you did an
excellent job on the anke joints which happen to be, in my opinion, the most
imporant part a model needs for posing. i am totally floored with the "plug"
cockpit idea! when i read your post before your pics were moderated, i assumed
your plug idea didn't actually fit a minifig. the plug i created for my
evangelion (due to come out in a couple of weeks) used only round 1x1 bricks
(booring). please don't take offense to this, but your mecha is ugly in a very
cool sort of way. although i'm big on proportions, the disproportionment of
your mecha adds to its originality and character. nice color scheme and weapon
too.

| (...) Thanks! I'm pretty satisified with the end result - not bad for "my first mecha-with-legs", at least. I've been looking at some of the excellent posable skeletons on Brickshelf and that looks like a tempting direction to head in, although it (...) (21 years ago, 18-Aug-03, to lugnet.build.mecha)
