Ive been building mecha for a couple months now, and I know what you mean. Its
difficult to get leg joints that can support the weight of a full-torso mech.
You did a great job and Im impressed how far down youve gotten the knee is
some of those shots. I know from experience that those shots become especially
difficult as a fly sneezing 10 yards away can break down the stability of your
MOC in that position.

I thought that I was going to make something akin to a Gasaraki Armour suit,

Very ironic... I just finished photographing that very concept. I made a minifig
scale MFX-02 Ishtar. It even includes the opening back hatch and top tank head
of the TAs in Gasaraki. It stands about 10 inches tall and includes 17 points of
articulation. Im actually planning on posting it on my site tomorrow.
BTW: Personally, I loved your mech with no arms or legs

I'm amazed at how difficult it was to get something jointed that can stand up and hold poses properly. All the cool (...) (21 years ago, 16-Aug-03, to lugnet.announce.moc, lugnet.build.mecha, FTX) !
