You did a great job and I’m impressed how far down you’ve gotten the knee is some of those shots. I know from experience that those shots become especially difficult as a fly sneezing 10 yards away can break down the stability of your MOC in that position.

It was all going fine until a little breeze sprang up and it started wobbling around a bit. I’ve successfully left Kaji posed with knee down or walking overnight and nothing amiss has happened. That said, I clearly don’t have very good faith in the joints because whenever I do that it’s always on the floor or some other low surface. Maybe I should psych myself up and try the top of the TV...

Very ironic... I just finished photographing that very concept. I made a minifig scale MFX-02 Ishtar. It even includes the opening back hatch and top ‘tank’ head of the TAs in Gasaraki. It stands about 10 inches tall and includes 17 points of articulation. I’m actually planning on posting it on my site tomorrow.

Excellent - I look forward to seeing it. I’ve still not seen more of Gasaraki than the ADV trailer and some of the Bandai kits, but I’m wavering on the point of buying the first few episodes.

Is the Ishtar the one with the big flat head?

BTW: Personally, I loved your mech with no arms or legs

Sadly it’s been somewhat reduced to feed Kaji with detail parts. I’ll see if I can dredge up enough bits to get it back into action at some point.

Thanks for the kind comments,

Will
