So anway I'm taking it all in stride and building a new mech. I'm gonna call (...) (20 years ago, 14-Jan-05, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX) !

| | | | (...) Mark, thanks for the post since I have been the one that has been asking. I'm not sure if I should smile or cry ... it's so beautiful. I caught my first glimpse of it this morning on Brickshelf! Seeing the inner-workings on a project like this (...) (20 years ago, 14-Jan-05, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

I'll get a pic up pretty soon, but there are two knobs you can just see, they have the flat 2x2 tiles on them, there is a worm gear contacting the exterior gearing of the table in vertially in the back of the hip. that is what controls the (...) | | | | Just a couple of comments. First, that is a great idea for the toes! I like your style of having two or three toes fanned out claw-style, but I didn't like how it seemed to flatten the feet out, I always thought they'd look better with a little more (...) | | | | | (...) thanks for that. I messed with the feet and thought wow, that actually looks ok. (...) I fein sickness. No, actually I don't work at all and sort of "space-out" and think of Lego. Strangely I get more work done those days... :) Mark (20 years ago, 17-Jan-05, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

| | | | (...) Not another chicken walker. Sheesh, talk about old hat. ;) In all seriousness, that hip joint is a real eye opener. Thanks. You only have the two axes of rotation in the ankles, yes? And is the thigh rotation also worm geared? Cheers, Allister (20 years ago, 16-Jan-05, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)
