Just a couple of comments. First, that is a great idea for the toes! I like your style of having two or three toes fanned out claw-style, but I didn’t like how it seemed to flatten the feet out, I always thought they’d look better with a little more height, which this new design provides. As an aside, I like to over-build the feet and calves on mechs, because it’s kind of “free weight”. Foot weight doesn’t stress any of the joints, and calf weight only stresses the ankle. So you can add visual (and literal) weight with very little additional joint stress.

thanks for that. I messed with the feet and thought wow, that actually looks ok.

Second, if I’m reading this right, you’ve come up with a fully-wormed three axis hip design that fits in a relatively compact package. How do you keep yourself from calling in sick to work so you can stay home and work on it? ;-)

I fein sickness. No, actually I don’t work at all and sort of “space-out” and think of Lego. Strangely I get more work done those days... :)
