Just a couple of comments. First, that is a great idea for the toes! I like
your style of having two or three toes fanned out claw-style, but I didnt like
how it seemed to flatten the feet out, I always thought theyd look better with
a little more height, which this new design provides. As an aside, I like to
over-build the feet and calves on mechs, because its kind of free weight.
Foot weight doesnt stress any of the joints, and calf weight only stresses the
ankle. So you can add visual (and literal) weight with very little additional
joint stress.
Second, if Im reading this right, youve come up with a fully-wormed three axis
hip design that fits in a relatively compact package. How do you keep yourself
from calling in sick to work so you can stay home and work on it? ;-)

So anway I'm taking it all in stride and building a new mech. I'm gonna call (...) (20 years ago, 14-Jan-05, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX) !
