The Marauder is based on the Macross Zentraedi Officer's Battle Pod. Here's a nice pic with some good detail. Hi I use an Agfa ePhoto 1280, which is a bit dated now and has been discontinued, so it has been heavily reduced in price, so if you want one you should be able to find it within your price range at discount stores. Check out the Front Mission 3 action figures. They look far better than the wireframe things in the screenshots. They're not the most imaginative mecha designs, but I think they were aiming for making them look more functional than pretty. (...) (...) Thanks Ben, I think I'm getting better because a) I am trying so hard to not copy anyone else, i.e. I have stopped using Karim's mecha hand ever since the Grunt Mecha, and b) I have stopped *building* models, and moved to *sculpting them. Well.. I there are a few reasons why i use a lot of colors, first to be a little diffrent from other lego mecha and (you guessed it) I dont have peices in all the right colors. Hi John Once again, your mecha have beautiful form, but I really think you should limit yourself to three colors at most. The use of four different colors, and in various different places, tends to confuse the eye and make it more difficult to (...) (24 years ago, 12-May-00, to lugnet.build.mecha)
