Hi folks,
someone told me my LEGO Mechcommander-website has caused some kind of riot
here at the mecha-forum ;) Well, first of all, I was surprised Lugnet has a
mecha-forum at all ... I must have overlooked it. I think in the future I will
contribute more often than in the past :)
I’m very pleased you like my site, which is up for about 1 month now. It has
been started mainly because Ron & Randy apparently were busy (and still are!)
with something else rather than making new mechs. :(
So I thought it was about time for some competition ... I also wanted to have
a place to show off my mechs (and those of others). So I started building a
website, which grew larger and larger. After a couple of days, when I was
nearly satisfied with the result, I released the URL to a german LEGO-Forum
and to my friends. For some reason I forgot to post at Lugnet ... do you think
I could plead for senility? ;)

| Hooray! I chanced across your site because I was surfing links in the Cool Lego Site of the Week. I didn't know lugnet.build.mecha existed either until someone cross-posted to .space and I happened to notice... but I'm sure glad I found it. BTW, I (...) (25 years ago, 15-May-00, to lugnet.build.mecha)
