  Re: NOM-02 Prototype

Wow, that's quite a behemoth Bobby. First I gotta say I love that head, and like the whole Sandrock/Deathscythe feel of it. Now...let's see...I think the arms are a bit too long, and the legs a bit too short. Make the lower leg longer and the upper (...) (23 years ago, 18-Jan-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: New and kinda-new stickfig mecha wallpaper and stuff

(...) to follow. A couple of suggestions tho - give an overall "Parts List" for the entire model, not just on a step-by step basis. Also, place more than one step per page. Maybe 2-3, depending on the image sizes? If the images were shrunk down a (...) (23 years ago, 18-Jan-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: NOM-02 Prototype

Eheheehee, I can do that. I dunno, but the legs look a little short. Maybe it's just that the torso is large. One of those two. And that hip joint, does it really hold all that weight? Looks like it would sheer apart after you put 2 peices on top of (...) (23 years ago, 18-Jan-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  NOM-02 Prototype

Special thanks to all the people taking active interest in this Gundam prototype. Here are 20 and some odd additional images, I hope that you will not be disappointed.   Re: New Mech and Hoverthings oh, My!

(...) Thanks (...) Again, thanks, This project started with those chunks. (...) It does stay up. It works like this: It's narrow technic beams cris-crossed held together with friction pins with axles at the top and bottom. Now, when the turret is (...)   Re: New Mech and Hoverthings oh, My!

(...) Thanks. Which Damn crappy ones? The black wing bits? I like them but they are hard to fit into things. (...) Again, I love the bits and wanted to see how the whole ka-bob would look when applied in a ueseful way. Lego's made so may awesome (...) (23 years ago, 18-Jan-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: New and kinda-new stickfig mecha wallpaper and stuff

(...) Very impressive! Excellent work on the wallpapers! I love the green laser, the thruster flames and especially the pair of missiles. I wouldn't mind knowing which programs you used to create this as well. It smells like a combination of Bryce (...) (23 years ago, 18-Jan-02, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.space, lugnet.publish)

  Re: Preview: Prototype for NOM-02

Bobby! WOW! holy cow, all this time, you have actually been creating awesome Gundams! Dang, too bad you didn't get a digi cam sooner. :-D I really look forward to seeing more pics of this baby :-D It is so much better than your first one, I can't (...)   New and kinda-new stickfig mecha wallpaper and stuff

Hey all, It's not Gundam, it's not 5 feet tall, and it certainly doesn't use throwbot / buy-o-nickel parts. Nevertheless, here's some quick Jeremy news: I've just uploaded a new wallpaper called "Flight". Enjoy! (URL) new item I'm excited about is (...)   Re: Preview: Prototype for NOM-02

(...) You're using Gundam Project for the pics, right? Well if you are, I have some sad news, The site will be shut down. It makes me so sad, I'm going to cry... Well anyway you can get some good 3-d pics of the RGM-79SC Sniper Custom at (URL) only (...) (23 years ago, 16-Jan-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: Zero 5 - Ground Attack

(...) The head definitely reminds me of "01", like it was reincarnated into a gundam w/ advanced technology... (...) I sure hope that you keep at least one gundam intact; it would sadden me to know that nothing would remain of these groundbreaking (...) (23 years ago, 17-Jan-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: New MOC: Turbocycle/Mecha - The Morphosis

(...) Thanks Wilson. The hands were something I wanted to integrate right from the start, but the picture in my head wouldn't work out. I plan on trying different ideas til I get it right. The bike took probably....4 hours or so to build, I'd say. I (...) (23 years ago, 17-Jan-02, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: Zero 5 - Ground Attack

(...) I've found that the throwbot gear boxes eliminate the usual sliding of the worm gear on its shaft, making joints more solid. But the real secret to using them to make a super rigid joint is... nope, can't tell you ;-) (...) Mazinger, Getta (...) (23 years ago, 17-Jan-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: Zero 5 - Ground Attack

(...) Once I finished my Falcon, my StarWars motivation declined - I'll never build anything related to StarWars again. But there are plenty of mecha themes to try, no reason to stick with one. "K" (23 years ago, 17-Jan-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: New MOC: Turbocycle/Mecha - The Morphosis

Hey Chris, that's pretty nifty, it looks great in mecha form. It's cool how you managed to use the "mf legs as hands" technique in the small bike. How long did it take you to build that? I can imagine the patience it takes to build a regular bike, (...) (23 years ago, 17-Jan-02, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.mecha)
