I've just uploaded a new wallpaper called "Flight".  Enjoy!

Sweet...I love the laser flare off the A99's gun.

Another new item I'm excited about is my instructions page.  So far there's
just a few models with isntructions, but I hope to add more soon as I refine
my MPD-to-instructions process.  (Eventually I plan to publish the process
and make it easier for everyone to make instructions from their MPDs.)
Kudos, suggestions, flames?  I wanna hear them all.  :-,  I especially want
to hear what vital features the instructions pages lack, and which models
y'all want to see instructions for.

This is a great thing you've got going here, Sproat.  Very easy to use, easy
to follow.  A couple of suggestions tho - give an overall "Parts List" for
the entire model, not just on a step-by step basis.  Also, place more than
one step per page.  Maybe 2-3, depending on the image sizes?  If the images
were shrunk down a considerable bit, but were still clear enough to see
what's going on, you could probably squeeze 6 or more steps to a page.

Lesse...models I'd like to see instructions for...all of them? :-)  But
definitely the Sandman, that thing rocks.  I vaguely remember a shot with a
couple of them with chainsaws?

Also, the A82 and the A96...great work there.

Also, I've added some new stickfig mecha to my line-up:  the A38 "Bumblebee"
Scout Suit, the A41 "Sandman" Psych War Agent, and the A82 Heavy Battle
Armor.  You'll definitely see more of the last two later.  Check out their
hands...  http://www.io.com/~jsproat/lego/microfig/stickfig/views

As I said above, these are awesome.  I've been fiddling with ways to make
hands from Battle Droid arms forever, and could never get the thumb...but
now I see the tap is the key.  Really awesome.

(...) Heh heh thanks. :-, I was wincing a bit about that -- it almost looks like the cheesy sfx they used on the old Buck Rogers and Battlestar Galactica shows. But we all love cheese... (...) Awesome, thanks for the feedback. This is exactly what I (...) (23 years ago, 19-Jan-02, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.publish, lugnet.cad.dev)

Hey all, It's not Gundam, it's not 5 feet tall, and it certainly doesn't use throwbot / buy-o-nickel parts. Nevertheless, here's some quick Jeremy news: I've just uploaded a new wallpaper called "Flight". Enjoy! (URL) new item I'm excited about is (...)
