Re: Real Pics Of New Mecha

(...) Sounds like something from Starship Troopers, if you've seen that movie ;-) (...) Actually, someone told me about those once. (...) Yup (...) Chef (24 years ago, 30-Aug-00, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: COLOSSUS

(...) Yes there are some. Gundam Zero had flaps over Volcan(sp?) Cannons (...) Nope, not usually. (...) Heavy Arms dumps out loads and loads of missiles, and has a concealed machine gun in the chest.   Re: COLOSSUS

I've never noticed any lasers in the eyes, but maybe it's an episode I just haven't seen yet. Most Gundams have guns on the sides of their heads, tho. ~M (24 years ago, 30-Aug-00, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: Real Pics Of New Mecha

(...) a) what do you expect? It's a *humanoid* mecha, so any elements/attributes which are even vaguely analogous to (hu)man features, will be interpreted that way. b) I'm not sure about your rationale for inserting a groin-gun. There's a lot going (...) (24 years ago, 30-Aug-00, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: COLOSSUS

Ummm... No internal weapons you say: How about lasers in the eyes. Also, don't a lot of them have hidden missiles, because the anime there sure are a lot of missiles flying. BTW don't nearly all Gundam and related mecha (Zaku) in the anime have (...) (24 years ago, 30-Aug-00, to lugnet.build.mecha)

(...) Actually, I've heard the same thing but I believe it is actually the Russian Government that possessed such devices and subsequently lost them - along with numerous rumored caches of Russian military firearms allegedly hidden around North (...)   Re: Real Pics Of New Mecha

Mark's is correct. And I specifically stated "Tactical" Nuclear Missiles, not things like the "H-Bomb" and etc. And I was kidding when I said that it would "light" the battlefield. Anyways, don't you think that the missiles would be to the advantage (...) (24 years ago, 30-Aug-00, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: Real Pics Of New Mecha

There are such things as low-yield nukes, which have a small blast range and are used on smaller targets. The US military has "man packs," so called because they can be carried in a backpack. They are of approximate strength that they can destroy a (...) (24 years ago, 30-Aug-00, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: Lego Base Displays first images!

(...) Coolsville! None of your models use tons of pieces but they still look like they're all there (I hope you know what I mean). Also, what's the magnet on top of the B-1 tactical strike fighter for? It would be neat if you could attach extra (...) (24 years ago, 30-Aug-00, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.space)
