  Some new stuff...

Hey y'all, I've been pretty much caught-up in a frenzy of various things going-on in my life, so...hence the absence since July or August (not that anyone noticed...*sniffle*...the curse of being a former lurker). Anyway, I've got a swarm of new (...) (20 years ago, 3-Jan-05, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.castle, FTX)

  Re: Shiny new things

(...) man oh, man your moc's rock! i must say you are the master of fuchikoma/tachikoma. i've always contemplated making my own, but they would never measure up to yours. my favorite has got to be the hurricane mk II. i love how you made the (...)   Re: Shiny new things

There's clever parts usage, color coordination and advanced SNOT everywhere on these. So much detail in such small packages. Thought density. They are all master level MOCs. K ps. The Hardsuit seems to have tigerskin underwear, not that I noticed. (20 years ago, 30-Dec-04, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  Re: Shiny new things

(...) Spotlighted. Well space is always a scary place for me to venture, since my first defence is to scream. We all know how well that goes over in space. But Soren, as I have mentioned to you various times in the past, your skill for the scaled (...) (20 years ago, 30-Dec-04, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  Re: Putting downt the Riot

(...) I laughed. I cried. I kicked Fradel in the jimmy and had his car towed. I envied your collection of 6575 Polar Base walls. I really just dig how you can create a scene (as opposed to cause a scene, but that's why they keep us on different (...) (20 years ago, 30-Dec-04, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: Shiny new things

(...) Good gravy Soren! I've been watching these moderate on BS and wondered. Wow, you've been busy. My fav of the bunch would be the Fuchikima Special with the "eye" done with tubing. Of course the machine gun bursts on the Hurricane are an awesome (...) (20 years ago, 29-Dec-04, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  Re: Shiny new things

I like the 3 pinchers on the steering wheels for the hands/grabbers of Fuchikoma. I don't think I've ever seen it done that way before. Fuzzy (20 years ago, 28-Dec-04, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  Re: BrickCommander® 2004 Finale

(...) Your praise is appreciated, Kyle! The LEGO rescue chopper indeed is a nice set. Actually it's one of the few sets I purchased myself in 2004. However, if you were ONLY after the canopy, I would recommend to buy single elements at bricklink. I (...) (20 years ago, 26-Dec-04, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

Re: BrickMechs: The Ripper and the Jolly Reaper

(...) When I build these 'Mechs (thus far at least), I build them for gaming at cons and such where I want anyone to be able to use them. It's still possible to build Mechs with rotating hips... the geometry of mounting them to the 8x8 plate gets a (...) (20 years ago, 26-Dec-04, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: Shade, Mech for the SnowLeopard Clan Ninjas

(...) Great Mech! I like how posable it is. I am not much for weapons but the gun is a good detail for this mech. It can stand on one foot?....I would like to see. Awesome. Marc (20 years ago, 24-Dec-04, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  Re: Putting downt the Riot

(...) WOW!!! What can be said that has not been said already. The attention to detail can clearly be seen.....and the green windows...too cool. Then you throw in Snake Plisskin ...what more could you ask for. Excellent Moc! Marcus. (20 years ago, 24-Dec-04, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  Re: Putting downt the Riot

(...) Thanks Rev., but it has been a slow news-day on Lugnet for a few weeks now, and I think people are just happy to see a MOC, rather than more bitching and moaning about the good old days and how Lego has somehow screwed them.
