  Re: MSM-01

(...) I vote yes on the missle pod doors, I think they're cool. I like the way you hinged the front of the mech, it not only allows access, but the hinge joints break up squared corners in the torso. I just wish the top set of hinges were light gray (...) (20 years ago, 19-Sep-04, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  Re: MSM-01

(...) Well done, F-Dog. I especially like the fact that you have a cockpit and very poseable, usable legs in such a compact design.   MSM-01

Hi guys. This is the other mecha I've been working on. The MSM-01, missile support mecha was developed to add a longer range, hardhitting punch for other mecha in combat such as UPMs. The dual missile pods are each capable of firing laser guided (...)   Re: UPMX Urban Parol Mecha - Experimental

(...) Hi Kyle. Yeah, the feet seem to be a fav from what I notice. I got the idea of that heavy feet/boot look from the battloids in Southern Cross and Veritech Alpha battloids from Mospeada. They certainly help for balance when I'm posing them. (...) (20 years ago, 14-Sep-04, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

Re: UPMX Urban Parol Mecha - Experimental

Hi David. Can I call ya Dave? Thanks for the comments. I may just pick up a Gasaraki DVD cause I'm hearing it mentioned a lot now. Your hard suits rock, btw.   Re: Z748

(...) I had to grin when I realized your hardsuit had more appendages than your spider mech! I still love that hardsuit, that thing kicks @$$...   Re: UPMX Urban Parol Mecha - Experimental

Thanks E. I've got some other ideas I want to put down. Trying to figure out things is both fun and frustrating. I'm gonna have to stock up on parts now as I've caught the mecha fever. Fradel (20 years ago, 14-Sep-04, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: UPMX Urban Parol Mecha - Experimental

Hey Fradel, For a first try at mecha this is excellent. I like the size of these mecha; they're scaled like some of the more imodesti mecha from anime such as Patlabor, Gasaraki and, VOTOMS. The accessories and weapons you included are very nice as (...) (20 years ago, 13-Sep-04, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

UPMX Urban Parol Mecha - Experimental

Hi guys. This is my first mecha and first post. I've been a fan of mecha since I was a kid and have enjoyed looking at everyone's creations for years. I figured I'd give it a go myself.   Z748

After seeing Nakany's machinen krieger quadruped I decided I had to try my hand at one. Alas, my model doesn't even come close his, but it was still a fun little build. I'm not completely satisfied with it yet. I think the legs might be too long and (...) (20 years ago, 12-Sep-04, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  Re: Little Spatula Bot

That color scheme makes it look like it could be an M-tron mech (one of my favorite Space subthemes). There's a wonderful slection of parts in there too. (20 years ago, 11-Sep-04, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  Re: "Juggernaut" Medium Assault Mecha

  Re: "Juggernaut" Medium Assault Mecha

(...) Hey, that's a clean design. I like your use of the new joints; I wonder, though, how stable it is. I bought the Titan XP and built the main mecha; it is way too large for those joints, IMO. Your mecha is a little smaller, and not so bulky. I (...) (20 years ago, 9-Sep-04, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.space)

  Re: "Juggernaut" Medium Assault Mecha

Nice juggs, Todd! There's something solidly reassuring about the single brick widths you have running around and around your mecha. Very smooth. Keep it up! -Teddy (20 years ago, 8-Sep-04, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.space)

  Re: PA005A

I just went through the set of shhwweet pics. Great Photos! The scale and clarity of design bring you to a place where these suits are used and the fun can be imagined. Thank you. e (20 years ago, 8-Sep-04, to lugnet.build.mecha)
