These guys were designed for the narrow confines of combat in urban environments. As a result the designers opted to arm them with pulse carbines as opposed to rifles and a detacheable force blade for cutting through obstacles and enemy armor. They are also outfitted with a small arm shield for added defense.

I am also working on a detacheable fast pak that can be added to the rear. In one of the pictures you can notice where I have attached the force blade to one of the contact points.

I had fun with this project and hope to continue with this theme. Comments n stuff are most welcome.

P.S. Keith, now that I’ve posted can you call off the hit squad?

Hey, I like the feet. I’ve never tried to do flexing toes. That’s an interesting solution.

They certainly help for balance when I'm posing them. (...) (20 years ago, 14-Sep-04, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)
