Hi guys.  This is my first mecha and first post. I've been a fan of mecha since
I was a kid and have enjoyed looking at everyone's creations for years.  I
figured I'd give it a go myself.

Pics can be found here.

These guys were designed for the narrow confines of combat in urban
environments.  As a result the designers opted to arm them with pulse carbines
as opposed to rifles and a detacheable force blade for cutting through obstacles
and enemy armor.  They are also outfitted with a small arm shield for added
defense.

I am also working on a detacheable fast pak that can be added to the rear.  In
one of the pictures you can notice where I have attached the force blade to one
of the contact points.

I had fun with this project and hope to continue with this theme.  Comments n
stuff are most welcome.

P.S. Keith, now that I've posted can you call off the hit squad?

(...) These are pretty cool Fradel. Next, post the fighters you had at brickfest, those were cool, and I want to see em. This month's wamalug meeting escaped me, but I am going to try and make one if there is one during my winter break. Glad you're (...) (20 years ago, 12-Sep-04, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Hey Fradel, For a first try at mecha this is excellent. I like the size of these mecha; they're scaled like some of the more imodesti mecha from anime such as Patlabor, Gasaraki and, VOTOMS. The accessories and weapons you included are very nice as (...) (20 years ago, 13-Sep-04, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

(...) Hi Fradel, welcome. (...) Me too. I have been a huge fan of the concept for a loooong time. (...) You have captured that urban look very well. They remind me of GASARAKI TAs (...) Those are great. I would have thought that those parts would be (...) (20 years ago, 13-Sep-04, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

(...) Hey, I like the feet. I've never tried to do flexing toes. That's an interesting solution. (20 years ago, 14-Sep-04, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

(...) Hey...Fradel popped his own cherry and finally posted. Cool Mecha...I'm not really hip to the standards of articulation and building techinique of the genre, but I like what I see. Nice work. With some tips from the masters in this field (...) (20 years ago, 16-Sep-04, to lugnet.build.mecha)
