Hi guys. This is my first mecha and first post.

Hi Fradel, welcome.

I’ve been a fan of mecha since I was a kid and have enjoyed looking at everyone’s creations for years. I figured I’d give it a go myself.

Me too. I have been a huge fan of the concept for a loooong time.

These guys were designed for the narrow confines of combat in urban environments.

You have captured that urban look very well. They remind me of GASARAKI TAs

As a result the designers opted to arm them with pulse carbines as opposed to rifles and a detacheable force blade for cutting through obstacles and enemy armor. They are also outfitted with a small arm shield for added defense.

Those are great. I would have thought that those parts would be too big but they work just right for your MOCs.

I am also working on a detacheable fast pak that can be added to the rear.

Very interested in seeing that.

In one of the pictures you can notice where I have attached the force blade to one of the contact points.

I had fun with this project and hope to continue with this theme. Comments n stuff are most welcome.

I hope to see more stuff from you soon.
Take care,
David

Hi David. Can I call ya Dave? Thanks for the comments. I may just pick up a Gasaraki DVD cause I'm hearing it mentioned a lot now. Your hard suits rock, btw. I tried something like a hard suit some time back but that anime look evades me...so far. (...) (20 years ago, 14-Sep-04, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)
