Re: Roo Mech - entry for The Great Breathe Life Into .loc.au competition

Great job, it has a lot of personality! It is very kangaroo-like. It does not appear to be heavily armed though, but maybe equipping it with huge rocket launchers, missile racks and a railgun would detract from the main theme. Can't help but wonder (...)   Re: Roo Mech - entry for The Great Breathe Life Into .loc.au competition

Wow. That's really cool. I'd like to see it fight Adrian's turkey to the death. Really beautiful construction, too. The legs are my favorite, lots of schleim. I'm kind of disapointed that the pouch doesn't launch a mini Roomech though... Soren (20 years ago, 31-May-04, to lugnet.loc.au, lugnet.build.mecha)

Roo Mech - entry for The Great Breathe Life Into .loc.au competition

Here's my entry for the comp. Thanks for the extension Richie - I almost didn't need it :) I might do another one now. Pardon the lack of backstory, but it's late, I'm tired, and I'm just happy to get the thing finished, so please enjoy the pics. (...) As the others have said, the sign of an excellent builder is taking what advice works for your style, going back and thinking out what was an exceptional model into a supberb one. Those (...)
