  Re: new moc: TS-1 Vanguard

(...) i am also pleased with the scale. it is easy to work with in terms of joints and posing. (...) i am a big weapon fan, as you may have known. the folding cannon used to be a rocket launcher, but i liked the "tank turret" look better. i had to (...)   Re: new moc: TS-1 Vanguard

(...) can't...stop...build...y...desire to build... (...) thanks. i originally wanted to use a head, but since the cockpit was already done, it made no sense to put a head on top of the canopy. (...) i'm glad you noticed. the minifig fingers seemed (...) (21 years ago, 20-Mar-04, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  Re: new moc: TS-1 Vanguard

(...) of it make it look tough & realistic. the 1x1 clips & 1x2 plate with bar for joints & hands is something that i recently have been toying with; it's cool to see others have discovered it too & put it to good use! great job! Jeff (21 years ago, 20-Mar-04, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: new moc: TS-1 Vanguard

(...) Weapons are great. Both the fold-away weapon sytem and the submachine gun are a good touch. After seen your MOC I am convinced to start a new line of mecha. I have been thinking about it for a while now but I wanted to finish a star fighter (...) (21 years ago, 20-Mar-04, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: new moc: TS-1 Vanguard

(...) I really like this MOC, it's refreshing to see such a no-nonsense, well proportioned mecha. The lack of head is nice too, as it lets you experiment with new weapon positions. I also prefer those types of blocky fingers to the amorphous, and (...) (21 years ago, 20-Mar-04, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  new moc: TS-1 Vanguard

i'd like to intruduce to you the TS-1 Vanguard. this is the smallest scale mecha i've made to date, but it has one important thing--an actual driver!! inspiration came from mecha by jun nishizawa and soren roberts' landmates. needless to say, (...)   Re: transforming robot - kowabunga

(...) If I can make a small suggestion? Remove those hobcaps and replace the wheels with these: (URL) . I think they would look awesome on your car! Terry (21 years ago, 19-Mar-04, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: transforming robot - kowabunga

(...) Hi Nathan, Wow, that looks great! I like all of the decorative details you have in both robot and car modes, like the decorated tiles on the arms and legs and the exhaust pipes and spoiler. The head looks great, too, very (...) (21 years ago, 19-Mar-04, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: transforming robot - kowabunga

(...) Mecha builders amaze me as it is, but building transforers is on a level so much beyond that... -Tim (21 years ago, 19-Mar-04, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: **New MOC**

(...) Ahh, so you're the one who built that! I saw that on Brickshelf a couple of days ago and thought it was stupendously cool. Unlike Jon, I've always been a fan of Steampunk, so I really grooved on this one. I really like the big, blocky legs and (...) (21 years ago, 18-Mar-04, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: **New MOC**

(...) I adore this. And steampunk-ish mecha aren't even my favorite mecha. About every picture of this has some cool detail or building technique. Your photography and post-processing is stunning too. Oh and I just went through your other mecha (...) (21 years ago, 18-Mar-04, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  **New MOC**

Hi again .mecha folks - (!) I'm pleased to announce I finally got around to posting photos of another recent MOC - The (19th C.) Victorian Steambot. (URL) as usual - Best, Lee (21 years ago, 18-Mar-04, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: Son of They've Done It!

(...) While this is clearly CGI work, I do remember a contest where transforming shoe toys were given out as prizes, and I'm pretty sure that's the shoe. (21 years ago, 17-Mar-04, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: Hammer (in German)

(...) The expression in German for a "hammer" is "Hammer" as well. The tool to hit nails (or thumbs) with. (...) Thanks for all the information. The wormsrew attachment looks so simple, and now I get how you did it. Good idea! (...) Some more pics (...) (21 years ago, 17-Mar-04, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  Son of They've Done It!

Okay, I realize that last link was a hoax but yo're not going to believe your peepers when you see this! (URL) this is the real deal!! Really!!! Jeff (21 years ago, 17-Mar-04, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: They've done it!!

(...) I didn't believe it for a second, but it's a cool link nonetheless. However, (URL) check this out>. Allister (21 years ago, 17-Mar-04, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  Re: They've done it!!

(...) Ah, much more believable. The two major problems with the alleged tale were that a: there were no photos showing the car-robot-car transformation process (you know that anyone who pulled it off would actually try to post video if possible, or (...)   Re: They've done it!!

(...) what!!?? are you suggesting that i am merely a layman!!?? ha, ha! well, i suppose this proves it. at least i can brag about the fact that i initially saw through this clever concoction, but fell for it anyways. thanks for the enlightenment.   Re: They've done it!!

(...) *POP* goes the bubble. It'd be nice and cool, but it's apparently one of those clever "not-advertising campaigns to fool you" like they had for "I, Robot." Check this out: (URL) (21 years ago, 17-Mar-04, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: They've done it!!

(...) oh...my...goodness!!! that is the craziest thing i have ever seen! at first i was very skeptical, thinking that it might be a hoax using cg. but after further browsing, i am convinced! this may very well be the missing link between fiction and (...)
