Ah, much more believable. The two major problems with the alleged tale were
that a: there were no photos showing the car-robot-car transformation process
(you know that anyone who pulled it off would actually try to post video if
possible, or at least a lengthy string of photos, and there's no point in
building all the car parts on it if it's not transformable...unless it's being
used for advertisement purposes), and b: he talks of selling this idea to other
companies after secretly directing BMW production designs toward his own ends.
If he did it on the company time and/or the company dime, they own it. Plain
and simple. It could be the greatest invention since sliced bread, and they'd
own it, 100%. Blatantly admitting that he was tweaking official BMW designs
based on his own personal robotic needs pretty clearly gives them grounds to sue
for ownership of any design specs and/or patents that might arise, and possibly
embezzlement as well.
