Hey Jason, slow down man, you’re making the rest of us look bad. :-)

can’t...stop...building...(gasp!)...must...obey...desire to build...

I really like this MOC, it’s refreshing to see such a no-nonsense, well proportioned mecha. The lack of head is nice too, as it lets you experiment with new weapon positions.

thanks. i originally wanted to use a head, but since the cockpit was already done, it made no sense to put a head on top of the canopy.

I also prefer those types of blocky fingers to the amorphous, and IMHO unattractive, GLA-GLA ones

i’m glad you noticed. the minifig fingers seemed too organic for this guy. when i originally started this moc, i gave it up for awhile ‘cause i couldn’t get it to look right. but i really liked the hands so i kept trying to build something that would compliment them.

a small, folding stock submachinegun! Stylish Jason, very stylish!

had to stay true to the “rotgeist” retractable weapons idea.

The only things that I feel don’t belong on such a austere and rather “realistic” mecha, are the thrusters on the back and the legs. They just seem out of place on this “Gasaraki”-like design.

interesting point. I thought they not only added detail to the legs, but also complimented the thrusters on the back. believe me when i say that i don’t believe in flying power suits. the rockets are actually jump-jets which i find to be most practical (if, albeit, unrealistic).

Anyways, thanks for the inspiration; I’ve been thinking about doing a mecha along these lines for some time. This only makes me think more about it! :-)

don’t resist the urge...succumb to it...feel it...live it... can’t wait to see your next one, mladen.
