Hey Jason, slow down man, you’re making the rest of us look bad. :-)

I really like this MOC, it’s refreshing to see such a no-nonsense, well proportioned mecha. The lack of head is nice too, as it lets you experiment with new weapon positions. I also prefer those types of blocky fingers to the amorphous, and IMHO unattractive, GLA-GLA ones. Heh, and this mecha even has a small, folding stock submachinegun! Stylish Jason, very stylish!

The only things that I feel don’t belong on such a austere and rather “realistic” mecha, are the thrusters on the back and the legs. They just seem out of place on this “Gasaraki”-like design.

Anyways, thanks for the inspiration; I’ve been thinking about doing a mecha along these lines for some time. This only makes me think more about it! :-)

(...) can't...stop...build...y...desire to build... (...) thanks. i originally wanted to use a head, but since the cockpit was already done, it made no sense to put a head on top of the canopy. (...) i'm glad you noticed. the minifig fingers seemed (...) (20 years ago, 20-Mar-04, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)
