  Re: Mecha-Domokun

Expertly done. It has realistic mecha details, yet is wacky at the same time. Wackalistic. Yes, a Mecha-Domokun is inevitable when japanese pop culture has reached Domokun saturation, regardless of how wacky such a mecha would be. It's almost (...) (21 years ago, 26-Feb-04, to lugnet.build.mecha)

(...) Oh yes. Mamoru Oshii is a Japanese Stanley Kubrick. Now if only he could handle his characters better... Be warned, though. The Patlabor TV series and OVAs are nothing like the films. (...)   Re: New MOC: "Prowler" Autonomous Battle Tank

(...) Thanks. (...) Heh, I did consider a hover tank. But I think simply reinterpreting modern tank designs as futuristic hovering vehicles is wrong. Being able to fight in a 3d environment would drastically change the shape of a tank. My (URL) (...) (21 years ago, 26-Feb-04, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

Re: Built on a Sunday: The Grunnion

(...) Eric, This is certainly a cool little moc. Lots of fun! is it meant to be a minifig transport of some sort? or do my eyes decieve me, and there is no fig in there? just curious. -Lenny (21 years ago, 25-Feb-04, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

Re: New MOC: "Prowler" Autonomous Battle Tank

Hello Mladen (...) You certainly made good use of them. (...) You know, I could just picture the Prowler with those treads and it would look just as awesome, maybe even more so. Did you consider a Hover Tank of sorts? (...) I have been considering (...) (21 years ago, 24-Feb-04, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

Re: Built on a Sunday: The Grunnion

(...) Cute e, love the collar and is that a plant you used for the fur on his head? Now get to work on that trans mecha before I start deleting some pics. ;) Just out of curiousity, how does Din-Din feel about the new addition to the household? Or (...) (...) wow, a scaled down mecha! that's just my size! i really dig this one. it's just about the same scale as my spider tank. so, did you run out of brick, or just thought you might try a smaller mech this time. which reminds me--do you cannabalize (...) (...) What no square gun barrel? Whats going on here? Left is right, up is down.. I'm not sure what to think. Maybe you aren't really Mladen Pejic, but some kind of imposter-Pejic. A pseudo Pejic.   New MOC: "Prowler" Autonomous Battle Tank

(URL) Click on Image Heh, I finally made use of the precious few sand green elements I had. I have none of those nifty, wide Technic treads, so my only option for building anything close to a futuristic MBT was to make a multiped mecha with a (...)   Re: My newest Mecha: The Judge

(...) Thanks. I have always been partial to the big and beefy mechs, and this mech was definately my beefiest.   Re: My newest Mecha: The Judge

(...) Praise from Da Man! Thanks you very much! I was definately trying to do a torso construction that hasn't been done before, although i did get a little bit of inspiration from GlaGla's latest model :) Thanks, Frank (21 years ago, 22-Feb-04, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: My newest Mecha: The Judge

Ooooh yeah. Love that torso. Shoulders too, they look really good with that beefy chest between them. I'm a little put off by the red on the waist, and it could stand more detailing (figures I'd say that, huh? :) ), but the basic concept is still (...)
