You know, I've grated plenty of cheese in my life.  But I've never thought
of the sound as being "harsh".  Protracted, perhaps- especially when we're
making burritos for a large crowd.  But never harsh.

Well firstly let's make sure we agree it's an imaginary "force-field" generated sail that isn't even really there to begin with...after that I can readily acknowledge that it is merely trans-white rendered in POV.
