My old definition of an awesomely realistic MOC: You look at the thumbnail on Brickshelf and aren't sure at first if it ABS or if it is a photo of the real thing used as a reference.   New MOC: Luna Spire Moonbase Super-module
 
After I built the original Luna Tower, I got a few great suggestions for improvement, including making the top revolve. In order to include working elevators and a rotating top, I had to start over from scratch and work much bigger. This second (...) I just have to say wow. The shear amount of time and energy that must have gone into this is absolutley amazing, not to mention monetary funds. The one I was thinking of was this: (URL) same author (Stephen Biesty) has done several others, one on a castle, another on a ship, etc. There's a similar one that is just about an apartment building, but I can't find it. If you look around the (...) (22 years ago, 3-Jan-03, to lugnet.build.arch)
