Re: LEGO Millyard model to cover 2,000 square feet, Sponsored by NELUG

I just wanted to say that I had an absolute blast on Saturday - one of the best outings I've had as a member of NELUG. Despite having to rebuild my one section repeatedly (thus creating "The Gash"[1]), we probably could have completed our building (...) (...) Sunday was also lots of fun-- we had fewer people there, and finished up somewhere around 9pm instead of the projected 7pm -- building was just way too fun I suppose. At the end of the weekend, we pretty much completed about 4 buildings (I (...) (20 years ago, 18-Oct-04, to lugnet.org.us.nelug)

(...) Great stuff, great pictures - looks like a really awesome project. I hope to see it in person someday! I just wanted to make a quick comment on the part I quoted -- People just don't realize how amazingly cool it is to have enough bricks for a (...) (20 years ago, 18-Oct-04, to lugnet.org.us.nelug)

(...) I think I liked the part that I didn't have to pick through masses of bricks to get what I needed. Having lots of brick is cool. Having lots of SORTE bricks is even better :) Dan (20 years ago, 18-Oct-04, to lugnet.org.us.nelug)

(...) My favorite quote from Saturday, from Erik V.: "Don't bother sorting, just take all the loose brick and put it in the play area." Oh, and my pictures are here: (URL) -Alfred Allug dictator-in-chief (20 years ago, 19-Oct-04, to lugnet.org.us.nelug)

(...) Fair? Pssh! We should be proud of ourselves, Wayne -- I think we had it much harder then the other two tables on Saturday, for sure! I mean, anyone can build fast when they're not being attacked by marauding barnyard animals. But, we had to (...) (20 years ago, 19-Oct-04, to lugnet.org.us.nelug, FTX)

(...) That's a VERY clever pig you have there. I especially like the use of the 1x1 panel corners for ears. It's a bit overscale unless it's a boar, though, right? Did you bring it with you or make it from leavings in the play area? (Snipped unPC (...) (20 years ago, 19-Oct-04, to lugnet.org.us.nelug, lugnet.build, FTX)

I actually made him the day before at home with my own parts and just brought him along for the ride with me to New Hampshire on Saturday. He's part of a little vignette I made (...)
