www.minifig.co.uk - details of updates are on the front page

Hi James!

First thing I looked at was your MOC. Now, I don't think BURPs are that bad
when used well, and I must say you used them well. The front of your bulding
would fit seamlessly inside a mountain. I would love to see you build a big
mountain all around it, with the entrance a little more hidden, which would
be appropriate for renegades, no?
I like the way you set up the targets, the secret enterance, and the
chimney, but I have a comment aboutyour interior: too empty for my taste. I
suggest, either divide that big hall up into little pieces, or fill it with
tables and other stuff. Think about it - you wouldn't have such a wide, open
space in *your* house, right? Fill it up with, say, racks of weapons, a
kitchen for the WP dudes, some tables, maps, etc...

Otherwise I like it. The general feel is "stay away, we're well armed" and
the battlements look strong enough to scare most people away.

Now, I've never seen your characters before (at least, I don't remember
seeing them) and so forgive me for commenting about all of them. Hope you
don't mind... ;-)

I like your custom lady (stickers?), and the red skirt looks better than I
would expect. Those bad dudes are, well, bad! Pretty intimidating, even
though I don't like the black-face effect personally, it works. Plus, nice
touch with the bats-on-flagpoles. Ooooh, black wench - another sticker? And
that princess/queen? If those're painted on, that's flawless. The way you
used the feather on that one knight, flipped, works pretty nicely!

An overall comment for you is, try not to shrink or "pull" the pictures in
one direction, it skews off the proportions.

But now, this last character I just *love*. Wow. I *never*, in my wildest
dreams, coulda thought using one of the ickiest, town, apparantly-SPUDdy
piece, for an *excellent* castle MOC. Wowzers! I love it.

All in all, good site. Keep it up! And I'm going to rob you of your design,
so beware. ;-)

Thanks for the comments Shiri. The custom torsos are stickers, and they are not mine, I cant remember who did them but if they let me know I'll credit them. I have lots more characters photographed, so I'll stick some more up in the next day or so. (...) (23 years ago, 23-Jun-01, to lugnet.castle, lugnet.general, lugnet.build)

---...---8<---...---snip (...) Aaargh. I just realised the page displaying the big images had size tags attached so all the images were being resized by the browser to the same dimensions. It's fixed now so the images look as they are supposed too (...) (23 years ago, 26-Jul-01, to lugnet.castle, lugnet.general, lugnet.build)
