Yes, a train does indeed hit it - a freight train, in fact. If I recall
correctly, it was pulling two or three boxcars. Marty just got out in time
too!! Nice filming, although I do wonder why the DeLorean didn't catch on
the front of the engine somewhere and crumple up or derail the train,
instead of being plowed to bits like that.
I particularly like the ending of BTTF 3, not long after the DeLorean gets
turned into trash. That steam locomotive turned into a futuristic flying
transport is out of this world!! :-)
I like your model, although I must agree that it is a bit blocky looking.
Perhaps Technic beams could be better utilized in it's construction? That
would also allow for some scaling up of the model, if you decide to do a
second version of this model, I look forward to it!!
