As far as the fours "S", you may not have a choice if your set was not new.
If you're building a newly opened set, do NOT dump everything in one bucket
and sort them.
I discovered that all LEGO bags are ALREADY very well sorted!
For example, I have never seen a 3 stud axle mixed with a 4 stud axle in the
same bag.
Each bag is a collection of easily discernible pieces.

When you've built a large number of new sets, you get to know which
pieces tend to be in which bag.

When I realised this, I knew I was an addict :-)

I think 14 hours is typical build time for the Technic Space Shuttle. I actually was disappointed when it was finished, because I was having so much fun building it. The "Aha!" moments were wonderful! I intentionally took time to savor every step. (...) (25 years ago, 13-Nov-99, to lugnet.build)
