I always build the main model even if it is a very small set that I
bought just for parts. My interest is in Technic and MindStorms. Even
though I have been building my own models for quite some time, I can
find a helpful building tip even in the small sets. The set models stay
together at most a day before I sort the parts into my inventory.

| I'm the first to admit that I buy LEGO sets just for the parts. I never actually build the model in the instruction booklet. Until a recent post by Ralph Hempel about the 8226 Mud Masher that sent me on a bit of a building rampage. The Mud Masher (...) (25 years ago, 12-Nov-99, to lugnet.build)
