Your loss dude. I have to totally disagree with your perception of the
"great AFOL community". See my post here:

and have been glad to have this online community to share with and learn
from. Much like in Lothlorien, the only evil found herein is that which you
bring in yourself.
If you post to get praise, no matter where, you'll most surely be
disappointed. But if you lurk and post to learn, have fun, and to share
with the world, the world will reward you.
Don't be so serious. Have some fun already.
