  Re: building problems

Good tips. I can't emphasise enough the power of doing design studies. Bits and pieces that you can work from after you're happy. In fact, building, then copying and improving with the other one in front of you, if you have enough pieces, is a GREAT (...) (26 years ago, 6-Mar-99, to lugnet.build)

Tom's tips are great. I suggest starting slowly. Like drawing still life, start with simple, manageable projects. Build one room houses, simple trucks and planes. Things no bigger than 2 handfulls. My father taught me to build with wood by making me (...) (26 years ago, 6-Mar-99, to lugnet.build)

Re: New creations on my website

(...) There is something oddly compelling about a black pyramid - it just sits there and demands to be stared at. That brown tower is bizarre - not the design so much as just seeing it all in brown. That much brown seems to be unnatural somehow. :-) (...) (26 years ago, 6-Mar-99, to lugnet.build)

  Re: building problems

(...) Interesting. We are exposed to 2 dimensional imagery every day that most people interpret as realistic: Television, color photography, movies, and even the images that are formed on the retina of our own eyes are two dimensional. Even if the (...) (26 years ago, 6-Mar-99, to lugnet.build)
