  Re: What To Build?

I have the same problem because we are living in an appartment temporarily (while our new house is being built). Instead of building a town, I've concentrated on building larger, single buildings. I chose aquazone because I could effectively store (...) (24 years ago, 26-Oct-00, to lugnet.build)

----- Original Message ----- From: lawrence wilkes <lawrence@thewilkesf...rve.co.uk> (...) Yep - I saw your station. It is the best LEGO station I've seen!   Motorbike in parkscale

Hi all, I showed a previous version of this bike to Frank Buiting and he said I really should post it here. So, have a look at my 1:20-ish scale LEGO GoldWing. It's in my Brickshelf gallery ((URL) and on my homepage ((URL) more there, and there's (...) (24 years ago, 26-Oct-00, to lugnet.build)

  Re: 8x11 box and plate

Maneul, Please check the Architectural boxes again. You might have 4 varieties, but I could swear that there are only 3. I will go home tonight and check again. After today I won't be able to post again here until Monday. As for your parts pack box. (...) (24 years ago, 26-Oct-00, to lugnet.build, lugnet.general)

Re: What is with the Technic Stormtrooper?

(...) As a matter of fact I have. Furthermore, I build mecha that stand 8-9 in. tall over and over again (and mix and match joint combos often).   Re: New LEGO hairstyle piece

I like the new hairpiece too! Well, it looks like a muffin, but a new hairpiece is always nice. I also thought about making it in blonde (tan), but for another reason... "Lt. Surge" from Pokémon... Or maybe he has light brown hair? I don't really (...) (24 years ago, 26-Oct-00, to lugnet.build.minifigs)

(...) ... No, I don't know that you are. Ok, maybe minority, but not alone anyway. Mark S. certainly likes the new hair as well, and I don't mind it (my first thought after seeing it was "Hey, if they mold it in blond then I can make Guile from (...)   Re: What is with the Technic Stormtrooper?

(...) Ugh- more ball joints that won't hold any weight. Has anyone actually gotten a Throwawaybot to stand up after having played with it for 5 minutes? I found that the joints became about as floppy as a trailer hitch after even minimal use. -- (...) (24 years ago, 26-Oct-00, to lugnet.starwars, lugnet.technic, lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: New LEGO hairstyle piece

Wow, I guess I'm in the minority. I really like most of the new products coming out for 2000 (well, except that g.d. technic stormtrooper). As for the new hair, I thought it was pretty cool - it immediately reminded me of a "Juicer" look, from the (...) (24 years ago, 26-Oct-00, to lugnet.build.minifigs)

  Re: Timmy has competition

(...) My son Ian built the yellow submarine from "Yellow Submarine" (seen in some of the pix from PNLTC's G2K show). We're working on mini-fig Be-a-tles. Of course, for Paul "the cute one" McCartney; we're using the Timmy head. - Gary Gerdes (24 years ago, 26-Oct-00, to lugnet.build.minifigs)
