Yesterday my girlfriend called me at work and the first thing she said
was "We *have* to get that figure! He's the best ever!" (I hadn't even seen
him yet because I had spent my day studying the Star Wars sets instead. (I
cannot explain how she overlooked the splendor of a stormtrooper minifig or
a 4-handed Emperor.) )
Mind you, she isn't even the biggest Lego fan, just a supporter of my
habit. So, what the hey, anything that catches her interest and results in
more Lego for me sounds fine.

In my humble opinion Timmy is going to get some serious competition for the
most annoying looking mini fig.  I was looking at the Alpha Team part of the
new brochure and saw, among a number of perfectly well adjusted LEGO
minifigs, the fig with a really big mouth.  Thankfully it doesnt look like
this head will proliferate throughout sets as Timmy has (knock on wood). So
on that count Timm'ys title is still in tact.  But this new fig just looks evil.
