Re: Dan the Man is at it again

(...) G'day Joel, I'm thinking the same thing. First time I saw it I figured it had to be the TC, may she R.I.P. (bloody stealth fighters!) :] The TC definitely had that amount of green on it, but you're right, it seems to be missing a little blue, (...) (24 years ago, 6-Oct-00, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build)

Re: Dan the Man is at it again

(...) It's just amazing. I can't help but think back to the days I used to play Wing Commander, WC2 and WC3. It looks kind of like the TCS Tiger's Claw from that Origin space combat series.. other than not having any real blue highlights as I recall (...)   i feel very small right now

seeing these kind of mind-blowing creations is beautiful and painful at the same time. It's awesome to see such magnificent creations, and yet it seems unfair that someone else seems to have so many bricks and so much free time! awesomely inspiring! (...)   Re: LEGO Foosball table

(...) Yeah just like in the comics *ting!!* ...10 minutes and a few snaps later. (...) If you are lucky and have some 4763's(old jetpack) it could help a bit. Thread in the grooves may slow the missalignment too. Kicks a ball clean across the room (...) (24 years ago, 5-Oct-00, to lugnet.sports, lugnet.build, lugnet.gaming)

Re: Dan the Man is at it again

(...) Yes, he is. He brought the command center of the base with him to the LUGOLA meeting last month. It took up a large grey baseplate by itself. We were joking that he should have brought the whole thing. We aren't joking about it now... -Dave (24 years ago, 5-Oct-00, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build)

(...) any case, nice work!!! (...) LOL! I guess you've shown that it wouldn't be necessary. Cool! (Notwithstanding, I wouldn't mind drilling Timmies and Jar-Jars.) --Todd (24 years ago, 5-Oct-00, to lugnet.sports, lugnet.build, lugnet.gaming)

  Re: LEGO Foosball table

(...) Check out these pics Todd, just a suggestion for a mini table. Somewhat modular and Lineup may need to be "Dressed" before next play [/:-) (URL) Drilling, poor things. Best DaveG (24 years ago, 5-Oct-00, to lugnet.sports, lugnet.build, lugnet.gaming)

  Re: LEGO Foosball table

(...) I probably won't ever do this (too expensive and time-consuming) but I thought it would be fun to think about. Drilling holes in the torsos would probably work (eek! :-), if you've seen the experiments that Paul Gyugyi did with his Hexatron (...)   RE: LEGO Foosball table

(...) Well, The axles don't have to range freely across the board, so if you're willing to GLUE them to axle connectors, you could make them any length you want, but the range would be limited by the longest axle. (12 LU I think) But how are you (...) (24 years ago, 5-Oct-00, to lugnet.sports, lugnet.build, lugnet.gaming)
