Re: More pictures of my (Aquazone) Gothic Cathedral

(...) Thanks for the new pictures. :) This cathedral is such a cool fusion of Aquazone and architectural building. You've maintained visual consistency with the Aquanauts theme, while also addressing AFOL-MOC needs such as solidity, size, and (...) (24 years ago, 29-Aug-00, to lugnet.build)

Yeah, so has most of the world... metric is so much easier to figure out. You're not sitting there having to divide Feet by 12, or divide Inches by 8, etc. But imagine the stink it would make if they tried to implement metric in the US. ^_^ ~M (24 years ago, 29-Aug-00, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.build, lugnet.general)

Re: More pictures of my (Aquazone) Gothic Cathedral

Brad, Great job on your auquazone Cathedral! I can see that you did your homework in regards to studying architecture. And next you will be using one of the worlds great classical inspirations, Palladio's Villa Rotundo. I am always happy when a (...)   Re: Real Pics Of New Mecha

(...) Is it just me, or does this sound like thinly veiled condescension? If you put a large phallic cannon between the legs of your mecha, you shouldn't be surprised if people chuckle at it, regardless of their age. But that's ok if you think I'm (...) Hey Y'all: It was sad day in my home tonight. I was being menaced by trooping ants for over a week; why I have no idea -- the place is quite clean and on the second floor. Yet these ambitious ants persisted and finally discovered my cereal boxes on (...) (24 years ago, 29-Aug-00, to lugnet.build)

  Re: Moonbase! Need Help!

(...) Look here, for starters: (URL)2) Where can i get it Toys R Us supposedly has an exclusive for the U.S. They're currently closing it out, at *very* low prices. You might also look around to see who's been buying the sets to break out the motors (...) (24 years ago, 29-Aug-00, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build, lugnet.technic)

  Re: Moonbase! Need Help!

(...) My knowledge is limited, but I think it comes down to cost/benefit: digging is an expensive process. On the Moon, the benefits of minimizing the temperature swings are huge, and the costs of energy should be a lot lower (either boosting up a (...)
