(...) YES PLEASE! This seems fodder for Matt Bates's site... this piece is used in only two sets and comes in two versions?? How fascinating. How often does THAT happen? (26 years ago, 4-Feb-99, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.build)

(...) Thanks Bram I got them. I had a problem converting it to povray though, one piece 3039exp.dat was not found. 3039 is a 2x2 sloped brick and I assume this is a decorated version with a control panel on it, I've replaced it with a plain 3039 for (...)   Re: Numbers and Letters set, anyone get this?

Yes, that would be sets 487 & 987 for the letters, and 488 & 988 for the numbers (the 400 series came in early/mid 60's, the 900 series came late 60's-early 70's). (...) Hey Larry, We can split a set of these, if you'd like? I am working on building a few 1920's Movie Palaces, and these letters would be great for using on a large marquee. (...) Thanks. Construction Site ((URL) has them as well, same price, per an offline note I received from Crispin and I'd rather give them the biz... but I can't decide if I need them badly enough to spend 40+ bucks given that they're huge. ++Lar (26 years ago, 1-Feb-99, to lugnet.build, lugnet.general, lugnet.market.buy-sell-trade)

Pitsco in their new catalog has a set N779816 which is 276 tiles with sans-serif single letters. The description says they "connect to Duplo building plates and bricks". Anyone get these?
