(...) I don't know. They're both black, so that might look sort of funny.   Re: New Service Packs for 1999..

(...) Don't forget the 4x4 round brick with side holes! Here's some others I'd love to see in a rounded parts pack: - 6x6 rounded-corner plate (fits with the 4x4 quarter-round brick) - 3x3 rounded-corner plate (new for Star Wars, I think) (fits with (...)   Re: New Service Packs for 1999..

You're right. When you try stacking those macaroni bricks, they become very unstable. I usually use only 3 or 4 on top of each other, and then a curved plate on top of that (sort of an overhang). The only stability with these is if you make a light (...) (26 years ago, 28-Jan-99, to lugnet.build)

  Re: SEV2

All this animation talk is making me very jealous :) Anyone offer to do my Ice Planet fighter with the turning turret that tilts up and down? (...) That would be okay. I made the rod white only because that's the piece I used when I actually built the model. (...) No. I made sure of that on the real model. Master Modeler James as usual does not announce new stuff very well. ;-) Follow his link and check out his SLAG CAR! Very cool.   Re: 40 New Photos of my city; More

Wow! Very impressive! I love the relief on the face of the mall building. And the flags are a very nice touch. You must have quite a bit of space to work with (and plently of bricks). A superb effort indeed. -- Michael Hopkins Visit my lego page at: (...) (26 years ago, 27-Jan-99, to lugnet.build)

My first Original Train Locomotive Creation (age 9 or 10)

During Christmas Break my mom dug up some photographs of when I was 9 or 10 years old. To my surprise one photograph showed the first train locomotive I built. (...) Yes, and they'd make for great door edges, allowing for easily opening flush-mounted doors without large gaps. Right now, I'm shaving some 1x2 and 1x3 bricks for this purpose, by beveling a corner so that it's roughly like 1/4 of a 1x1 round (...) (26 years ago, 27-Jan-99, to lugnet.build)
