Thanks for the compliments! My aquazone history is kind of interesting. I never bought a single aquazone set until last year. Then, just for fun, I got a 6199 (Hydro-crystalization station or something like that). However, I never used it to build (...) (...) Ah, yes! A custom made independent suspension, much like the one on 8448 or 8865. This approach will need no less than four universal joints. thanks for the comments yes, what you described is correct. the blades of the worm gear are angled acutely enough so that the up/down movement of the legs is not affected by the back/forth. with just one motor, you cant have too many axes of (...) (24 years ago, 12-Aug-00, to lugnet.build)

Update on the rover: The rear end is complete, including the articulating section which is driven by a micromotor. I tested it by adding a couple big wheels to the front, and as long as the vehicle is moving forward, it turns quite nicely, thanks to (...) (24 years ago, 12-Aug-00, to lugnet.technic, lugnet.build)
