Re: New Space Ship added to site, check it out!

(...) It looks good. The rear view is very interesting. I also enjoyed the 1200YF design. One thing, though. Please change the link colors on the new fighter page. The dark green on gray background is virtually impossible to read. The other pages, (...) (26 years ago, 14-Jan-99, to lugnet.build)

(...) I thought they were called 1x2 Plate w/ 2 Hinge Fingers 1x2 Plate w/ 3 Hinge Fingers there... If something is a 3-finger hinge, wouldn't it mean that it's a [full] hinge that has 3 fingers [total]? Say, speaking of which, Joshua once told me (...) (26 years ago, 14-Jan-99, to lugnet.build)

(...) Please do that. I can't seem to visualize it with just text and ascii descriptions. With an actual picture, or maybe an ldraw rendering, someone may be able to suggest something useful. -- Terry K -- (26 years ago, 14-Jan-99, to lugnet.build)

Re: New Space Ship added to site, check it out!

(...) If a minifig is about yea tall, a microfig is about one-something-ith of that height. Basically, anything significantly smaller than a minifig. I generally don't count creatures made from just minifig legs to be microfig-scale; but rather (...) (26 years ago, 14-Jan-99, to lugnet.build)

(...) Microfig is a scale, not an actual figure, that is anything smaller than minifig scale. -Tom McD. (26 years ago, 14-Jan-99, to lugnet.build)

(...) Grrr, Hate to show my ignorance nut what is a microfig? have I missed something or are these just hypothetical? Cheers Tim (26 years ago, 13-Jan-99, to lugnet.build)

followups set to trains... (...) However, they are a bit more selectively compressed than I care for. :-) Mine has two motors, of course, instead of a stubby second truck. Also, I think the shoulder isn't quite right. I never do ascii art but here (...) (26 years ago, 13-Jan-99, to lugnet.market.buy-sell-trade, lugnet.trains, lugnet.build)

  Re: 60 degree problem

(...) A 3 blade rotor will give the same angle geometry but I don't beleive it is what James is asking. I believe he is asking how to anchor something to the top of this assembly that is connected to all three legs. Geometrically, there is no (...) (26 years ago, 13-Jan-99, to lugnet.build)

  Re: 60 degree problem

(...) Whoops, this is not what I thought. Typing too fast. If this is 2 plates, one with 2 fingers and one with 3 fingers on the end, which coupled together take the same space as a 1x5 plate would, these are "two finger" and "three finger" hinges. (...) (26 years ago, 13-Jan-99, to lugnet.build)
