I've been playing with the idea of a microfig-scale fleet for a while. My first Lego aircraft were this scale. In some ways, it's more challenging to do microfig-scale, but much more satisfying if it comes out right. I bet that if the folks at ILM play with Legos, they do microfig-scale models.
