Hey all, I'd like to do a minifig self-portrait one of these days, but I'm in need of a head that has glasses (not sunglasses) but no facial hair. Cool! Now you need an appearance package: - low profile wheels from the 8848 - the smaller technic shocks (for lowering the ride height) - some ground effects (maybe using some body panels like in the 8448, but in black) - a coffee-can sized muffler (...) Looking at the dimensions for the real world halftrack (2.10 m wide), it is painfully clear that even the width is too large - so the conclusion is, my halftrack is *about* minifig scale, and (...) (...) You're right ... I think some smaller wheels would be more accurate in terms of size, but I had made the decision to go with the big old' tires 'cause I thought they looked cool. Wow, five, huh? MMMmmmm reactor core.... I need to invest in more bricks before I can build anything bigger than about 3 feet long. I like how your mecha all seem to be very no-nonsense and technical-looking. The ThrowBots parts also add greatly to the poseability. Thanks for all the positive feedback. As noted in other posts, Fredrik has already made the Jeep chassis dat file that served as the basis of the Willys MB. I'm not currently planning on doing the armored car (sd.kfz 222) since the angle and (...) (24 years ago, 26-Apr-00, to lugnet.general, lugnet.build)

Shaun, I loved it all. My personal favorites were the jeep, SAMAS armor, skeletal warriors, and the various gun emplacements (Howitzer, etc.).
