  Re: My new buildings

(...) Hi Ludo, I just love the footprint shape of the city hall building. Also, the light grey arches inside the white arches on the dormar(?) on the roof is great! I did not know that they could work in that manner. The brown house looks great as (...) (18 years ago, 4-Jan-07, to lugnet.build.arch, lugnet.town, FTX)

Re: The Shag Wagon Urban Assault Vehicle

Paul, Amazing! This is easily the most original thing on .build.military in a long time. I think my favorite part is the small arms storage in the back. This is reminiscent of Mask from the '80s, if anyone remembers that (sort of GI Joe meets (...) (18 years ago, 3-Jan-07, to lugnet.build.military, FTX)

Re: The Shag Wagon Urban Assault Vehicle

(...) Very cool! This could easily be re-colored into a "James Bond"-type vehicle. All we need is a flamethrower, a minelayer, and an oil slick sprayer. Still, it's 'shagalicious' just as is. Maybe I'll steal some ideas from you for an 'Urban (...) (18 years ago, 2-Jan-07, to lugnet.build.military, FTX)

Re: Finally online : Cafe De Unie

(...) Enjoy? I sure did! Nicely done... funny as it seems, I think "modern" (at least for me) is very difficult to pull off well (in the brick). Do you have your next building already picked out??? Janey "Red Brick" (18 years ago, 2-Jan-07, to lugnet.build.arch, lugnet.town)

  Snowmobile tread for military tanks?

The new snowmobile really caught my eye. Set #8272 with the new wide tread links. (URL) have not seen the links up close and in person, but do you think they may be useful for a minifig-scale tank? The treads look a little bit too wide. And the (...) (18 years ago, 31-Dec-06, to lugnet.build.military)

Re: Finally online : Cafe De Unie

Re: Finally online : Cafe De Unie

(...) I like this a lot. It's a great choice to build in Lego and you've pulled it off most admirably. I particularly like the way you've simulated the spiral using studs out tiles (unless my eyes decieve me). My only crits are that it's perhaps a (...)   Re: Technique for building metal scaffolding?

  Technique for building metal scaffolding?

I have checked brickshelf, and none of my search terms bring results. I'm looking to build the scaffolding/frame similar to the photos (linked below), and would like to learn from other's attempts.   Re: Red fighter plane from WoH

The canards are studs out mainly because the area they attach to is (neccesarily) studs out and there is a fairly limited selection of snot bricks in dark red. Along with other (...)   Re: Red fighter plane from WoH

(...) That is a difficult plane to model, so I give you kudos for just attempting it. Despite a couple inaccuracies, I think this is a really good start. The engine and the main wings are superb.   Re: Mech Repair Facility
