  Re: Super Mario

(...) Of course, I haven't played on a Ninendo in ages, but this little guy brings back memories of Donkey Kong and Mario Bros. Oh yeah, spotlighted :) -Anne (19 years ago, 5-Jul-05, to lugnet.build.sculpture, FTX)

  Re: Super Mario

(...) Wow Bill, excellent job! I saw him on Brickshelf and it is one of the few MOCS I have called my children into see. They were suitably impressed as am I. I was particular impressed with both the over all shape and the way you did his eyes with (...) (19 years ago, 5-Jul-05, to lugnet.build.sculpture, FTX)

Two new mechs from me: Cluncker and Powersuit

In the wake of the MPC, the mecha fever still possessed me, so I built these two mecha: (4 URLs) Please let me know what you think! -- Nathan Wells PS - yes, I know, I stink at names... :P (19 years ago, 4-Jul-05, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.space, lugnet.announce.moc, FTX)

  Re: Bouquet

(...) Very nice, Duane! Are you using tubing inside the 1x1 rounds? (19 years ago, 4-Jul-05, to lugnet.build.sculpture, FTX)

  Re: Bouquet

(...) Pretty! It's refreshing to see an unusual design like this. I'd never think to make flower petals that way. Nice touch with the pick-a-brick cup as vase! -Suz (19 years ago, 4-Jul-05, to lugnet.build.sculpture, FTX)

  Re: Seaside Castle

Nice MOC. I especially like the multiple levels. It suggests multiple lines of defense. I also like the way you incorporated a sloped roof into the castle design. That always makes it more interesting. I also like the way this is built on a spit of (...) (19 years ago, 3-Jul-05, to lugnet.build, lugnet.build.ancient, FTX)

  Super Mario

Hello! Just thought I'd post my latest creation, Mario from Nintendo's Super Mario Brothers! (URL) I have always been a fan of the little guy since the days of playing Donkey Kong at my local arcade in the early 80's (dang, I'm old). I actually have (...)   Looking for a Building

Hello all, I hope this post is okay to go here. I came across what has to be one of my favorites builds a while back, and I can't seem to find it now. I believe it was on Brickshelf, but I'm not positive. The pictures I remember were of what looked (...) (19 years ago, 2-Jul-05, to lugnet.build.arch)

  Re: Four new vignettes

Hi, Bruce. Nice work. Love the difference in facial expressions between the people with money-in-hand, waiting to get their fix and the one guy who's been served. And it seems like such an obvious detail, but I don't think I've ever seen the old (...) (19 years ago, 2-Jul-05, to lugnet.build.vignette, FTX)

  Re: New MOC: MOAB

(...) Thanks for the comments, Mark. The calves are actually as thick as they possibly can be while allowing enough clearance on the front (above the foot) and in the back (retracting up to the thigh) so the MOAB can squat down low enough to fit in (...)
