So, I'm trying to get a *big* hose reel, but I'd really like to use pneumatic
tubing rather than Lego string. Problem being that it does NOT like to stay
wound up. (Winding about 2-3 feet of hose)
I came up with a halfway decent design that wraps the hose around a technic
axle, and uses friction axle/pins geared to it to make sure it doesn't slip.
Works ok, but takes up lots of space. Has anyone else played with this idea?

| Hmm, I just had a quick idea that may be what you're looking for, what about a ratchet system? Take a gander at what the Spyrius Robo-Guardian 6949 uses for keeping the arms in a raised position. The only reason I thought of this is that I'm in the (...) (19 years ago, 13-Jul-05, to lugnet.build)
