  Re: Fishing Village

thats lovely Stephen. I wasn't sure of that baseplate when I first saw it, but you have made great use of it there. (19 years ago, 27-Jun-05, to lugnet.castle, lugnet.build)

  Re: A Lurker Converted

(...) I was interested to see the trans-smoke plates used in your weapon magazine. I don't know if you knew this or not, but some of the latest assault rifles use transparent plastic magazines, so the soldier can tell at a glance how much ammo is (...)   Re: New MOC: "Bushwhacker" Tank Mecha

(...) Thanks Geordan! I actually didn't think of the legs that way when I made them, but I like the way you describe them! :-D (...) Yah, maybe it's because the turret is a lot more faceted and complex, whereas the legs are smoother and, as you (...) (19 years ago, 27-Jun-05, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  Re: New MOC: MOAB

(...) Wow, thanks for the thorough review! I wouldn't argue with the idea that the MOAB is not as good a mech as the Spider Tank. Everything just came together for me on that Spider, and I still don't know if I'll ever equal that effort. I'm glad (...) (19 years ago, 27-Jun-05, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  Re: New MOC: MOAB

Kyle! I must say a week ago I ventured in to check out the newest Vrieze creation and was quite sorely disappointed. Upon initial inspection it looked like you had ditched completely the perfect, refined form that you had achieved with the spider (...) (19 years ago, 26-Jun-05, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

Re: New MOC: "Bushwhacker" Tank Mecha

Awesome as usual Mladen! First off, the coolest part about this mecha are the legs. They are absolutely beautiful. The wheels fit in perfectly and the ladders as detail are awesome. The rockets at an independant angle from the leg are so sweet. What (...) (19 years ago, 26-Jun-05, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  Re: A Lurker Converted

Hello, Congratulations on creating an extremely posable first mecha! The basic structure is the hardest part and you've got it there nicely. The hand design is pretty neat and I like what you did with the head as well. Seeing as you're just getting (...) (19 years ago, 26-Jun-05, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  New MOC: Quell

(URL) (Click for gallery) Many thanks to Jeff Stembel, for providing me with a fine supply of rare 80s mecha tunes, without which this would have been a decidedly inferior model. Enjoy! Soren (19 years ago, 26-Jun-05, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.space, lugnet.announce.moc, FTX)

Hey all, Threw together a little Dark Tower (Stephen King) vignette tonight. Its from Book 4: Wizard and Glass. Looks great!!! I really like the look of you midevil dwellings. If you don't mind I may use some of those ideas. (19 years ago, 25-Jun-05, to lugnet.castle, lugnet.build)

Re: Announcing... The First Joe Vig Contest !!!

(...) Bruce, Good question. We can all think of ‘something better’ later, but the entries submitted thus far are considered final - therefore, the entries you submit (up to 2) will be considered as your final entries. “Big Daddy” Nelson (19 years ago, 25-Jun-05, to lugnet.build.vignette, FTX)

Re: Announcing... The First Joe Vig Contest !!!

Hey Nelson and Nate, I've got a question on the contest. I've made a couple of Joes that I was going to enter, but if I come up with a better idea in the next couple of weeks, can I withdraw one of my initial entries? Or should I just wait til July (...)   Fishing Village

Hey all, Had a little free time this afternoon, and couldn't bring myself to study anymore than 8 hours today(my life sucks by the way). So I started doing a little building. I've been wanting to use that plate from the new Coast Guard base, to (...) (19 years ago, 25-Jun-05, to lugnet.castle, lugnet.build)

  A Lurker Converted

Greeting fellow mecha builders, This being my first post, please let me introduce myself. I have been lurking on lugnet for about a year now. Just recently I began to look into the world of mecha. I had seen many of Eric Sophie's MOCs when cruising (...) (19 years ago, 25-Jun-05, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  Re: Ursine cub II

(...) Thanks, Kyle. I find myself drawn to that color combo for some reason, but don't worry, I've got a different color scheme in mind for the next Mecha I build. (...) I thought it would be nice to make another hand-held weapon for a mech. (...) (...) (19 years ago, 24-Jun-05, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)
