   Greeting fellow mecha builders,
This being my first post, please let me introduce myself.
I have been lurking on lugnet for about a year now. Just recently I began to look into the world of mecha.
I had seen many of Eric Sophie’s MOCs when cruising the web for mindstorms stuff, and I was truly amazed. I was then inspired even more by Mr. Neumann’s MOCs to build my own. so without further ado,
let me show you a friend of mine:
the brickshelf gallery As some of you have probably noticed that I entered a similar picture in the MPC contest.
I agree completely with the judge’s choices, and would have done the same. On the last day of the contest due to technical troubles I was unable to post.
The only reason I was able to enter the MPC was Mr. Neumann was kind enough to post my entry for me. Not only does he have awesome MOCs, he is kindly to newbies. thank you, Mark.

please tell me what you think .

I was interested to see the trans-smoke plates used in your weapon magazine. I don’t know if you knew this or not, but some of the latest assault rifles use transparent plastic magazines, so the soldier can tell at a glance how much ammo is left. However, there are at least three different colors just in that magazine, and this is a concern that applies to the rest of the mech as well. I’m seeing blue, light blue, orange, red, black, tan, both new and old light and dark gray, yellow, white and trans red. As your parts selection grows, tighter color schemes will get easier. You mentioned you’re a fan of both Mark and Eric--check out their use of color, as well as the proportions they use, in terms of the length of the legs and arms in relation to the torso, and the width of the shoulders compared with the width of the hips.

Good first effort, Zach, keep building!
