  Who's tubtattoo?

I noticed a very nice John Deere combine under the "tubtatoo" Brickshelf directory a few years back. There seems to be more and more postings, but no contact. The recent LAF Wessex is great. (19 years ago, 22-May-05, to lugnet.build)

  Vignette: Asphyxiate

Here's another Bricktionary entry I completed today: "Asphyxiate". It's a vignette in three stories... (URL) ((URL) Clicky> to go to the Brickshelf Folder) It starts out with a Janitor maybe a bit too excited about finding a discarded candy bar, and (...)   Vignette: Clandestine

I'm working on more of my "one word" vignettes for my Bricktionary. I got a couple of them done so far today - the first one is "Clandestine" (URL) (Clicky to go to the brickshelf folder) Thank goodness for the Harry Potter sets and their little (...)   Re: New MOC - "Stalwart" Multi-Role Mecha

(...) :^P I've been building quite steadily for the past couple months on that same mecha. I've been working and reworking everything. I'll post some updates again soon. Most of it has just been structural stuff, but I want everything on this one to (...) (19 years ago, 22-May-05, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

Re: New MOC - "Stalwart" Multi-Role Mecha

(...) Thanks Dave! I like those three words; they describe what I was aiming for perfectly. The wheels do indeed awkward. I guess I should have "experimented" with them a bit more. Thanks again Mr. Johann! (URL) Mladen Pejic> (19 years ago, 22-May-05, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

Re: New MOC - "Stalwart" Multi-Role Mecha

(...) Haha! Thanks Geordan! I'm glad you like the mecha. I was initially thinking about doing it "removable armour"-style, with the skeleton underneath, like you did with the (URL) Visage II>, but that proved too difficult. I agree with your comment (...)   Re: New MOC - "Stalwart" Multi-Role Mecha

Mladen! Great to see a new mecha from you. Clunky, chunky, and clean are the first three words that pop into my head to describe this one. I love the angles on it. The wheels....not so much, but that's really my only problem with it. It just looks (...) (19 years ago, 22-May-05, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

Re: New MOC - "Stalwart" Multi-Role Mecha

Dude I was just running around your site searching for more Mladen and here we go! This is awesome. I really like the clean elegance of the shapes you've used. The wheel idea is cool, but I don't know if their integrated into the feet as well as (...) (19 years ago, 22-May-05, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

New MOC - "Stalwart" Multi-Role Mecha

(URL) Click on Image I finally completed this mecha. Phew. Anyways, this is my third posable bipedal mecha. It uses many of the techniques I developed over the years. Inspiration for it came mostly from VOTOMS (note the wheels in the heel area) and (...) (19 years ago, 22-May-05, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX) !

  About Emerge

(URL) Though the hit counter at Brickshelf might not show it, this creation has been the subject of a lot of attention. This attention has come not only from folks in the AFOL community, but other artists have commented on it as well. I’m often not (...) (19 years ago, 21-May-05, to lugnet.build.sculpture, FTX) !!

(...) I used the grill for the overpass on my station - not a fence, but looks quite good. (URL) And it would be very easy to smash through from the inside, but that may not be what you want. ROSCO (19 years ago, 20-May-05, to lugnet.build)

(...) Is this the piece you're referring to: (URL) call it a "train signal mast", it's more than 8 studs long, and yes, you'll have a hard time getting a large quantity of those! -Bryan (19 years ago, 20-May-05, to lugnet.build)

  Re: Chain link fence/fence ideas.

(...) Ah yes, the one piece that always comes up in the "wouldn't it be great if LEGO made this piece?" discussions. :) Yes, this fence is actually pretty flimsy, with those fence pieces held by only one stud. It would be so much sturdier if there (...) (19 years ago, 20-May-05, to lugnet.build, FTX)

(...) That looks nice. Though those connector bricks are kinda expensive on Brickbay. I mean Bricklink. :) Not as expensive as 8x8 grids, though.   Re: Chain link fence/fence ideas.

(...) That is how I do it. But, I don't make them that high. (...) Remove the 1x1x5 column and use a combination of 1x1x1 bricks and 1x1 plates & it would work. Jonathan (19 years ago, 20-May-05, to lugnet.build, FTX)

  Re: Track and Field vignettes

Hey Bruce, Great work as always... these all have a certain 'cute' feel to them and the scale is excellent in its 'figness'. Thanks and God Bless, Nathan (19 years ago, 20-May-05, to lugnet.build.vignette, FTX)
