  Re: MOC4100: Cranetruck

(...) Wow! Looks great! You're too good at this. You take the "What would you make?" thing to the next level. You make alternates that look like they could have been the main model. Tell the truth, does TLC consult with you on the parts selection (...) (20 years ago, 19-Jan-05, to lugnet.build, lugnet.general, lugnet.lego, FTX)

  Re: MOC4100: Cranetruck

(...) Amazing work on all your alternate models. Wow! If not full-blown instructions, have you considered doing pics of your model during construction/deconstruction? I know I wouls love to try out some of your designs so I could see them in my (...) (20 years ago, 19-Jan-05, to lugnet.build, lugnet.general, FTX)

  Re: MOC4100: Cranetruck

Really impressive for a limited parts pallette. Is this an official alternate model? Or just proof that Lego's alternate designers need to work harder? :^) -Stefan- (20 years ago, 19-Jan-05, to lugnet.build, lugnet.general, FTX)

  MOC4100: Cranetruck

Before I continue building alternate models of the new designersets I still wanted to build another one of the 'old' 4100 Maximum Wheels designerset. I tried to use as many bricks of the set as I could and this is the result: (URL) (Click the pic to (...) (20 years ago, 19-Jan-05, to lugnet.announce.moc, lugnet.build, lugnet.general, FTX) !!

  Re: "Found at Last" Vignette

(...) The eyes, while not planned did give a fun look and feel to the scene. It gives the feel that "mom" is not too happy. (...) Overall thank you for the compliments. I did enjoy working on this vignette. I have a couple of more planned in this (...) (20 years ago, 19-Jan-05, to lugnet.build, FTX)

Johnny five IS alive - first MOC

hello all After a long building time (uncounted houres during one and a half year) I finally assembled my Johnny Five robot the first time. This was a great feeling looking to the robot and I will share this with you.I found a lot of inspiration on (...) (20 years ago, 19-Jan-05, to lugnet.robotics, lugnet.build.mecha) !!

  Re: Putting downt the Riot

(...) Keith, you crazy bastard! (That's what I call the "straight forward smack") Your stuff is freaking insanely unbelievable. It's really two fold... on one hand you have these amazing large-scale, very detailed MOCs which people spend literally (...) (20 years ago, 19-Jan-05, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  Re: "Aggressor", power armor dropship

(...) Kyle, I like the color scheme, the lifting doors, the weapons array, and the engine are neat, but I've got a few issues, and they have nothing to do with your building style or how it looks--it's more of a few technical/physics/science-based (...)   Re: "Aggressor", power armor dropship

(...) Kyle this is magnificent! I love the overall shape and the weapons/detailing. Along with Mark N.'s dropship, this is one of the few ships that looks cool and carries huge cargo. As always, I'm very impressed and somewhat humbled by your work. (...) (20 years ago, 19-Jan-05, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.space, FTX)

(...) Tourette's I think it is. But I have to wonder how it is you know these things? (...) That would rock, but.... he's already got dibs on the Bible (GOD told me so, so it must be true!) so you'd need another "holy book" to do... hmm... I know, (...)   Re: "Aggressor", power armor dropship

Wow, Kyle. That's rather amazing. I'd have to say my favorite part would be the top gun turret. I've always been partial to Mladen's square barrel. I do agree with Daniel that it needs more front boosters. But, then again, who am I to talk? I can't (...) (20 years ago, 19-Jan-05, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.space, FTX)

(...) Andrew, thanks for the kind words and for taking the time to post them. I don't think I'm quite there yet with the futuristic architecture...the reich was always supposed to be much more near-future than PCS and the rest of the themes. (...) (...) Keith, So yesterday morning i was finally able to go thru the pics at fullsize. Granted it took a good 45 minutes on our slow computer that uses dialup but it was worth it. ;-) Anyway, I hadn't replied before now cause I didn't think it (...)   Re: micro St. Basil's

(...) You bet! I think its fanatastic, although I had to go browse on the www for pictures as I was totally unfamiliar with the original and couldn't believe the model wasn't heavily over-decorated.   Re: "Aggressor", power armor dropship

(...) This thing is pretty nice. It bothers me that it doesn't have any thruster pods or engines at the front, but your techsplanation for that is acceptable. It strikes me as a sort of space-only vessel, and looks pretty good for that. Missiles are (...) (20 years ago, 18-Jan-05, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.space, FTX)
