This summer I built a team of power-armor mercenaries, and I wanted to build
them a ship to get to the battlefield with, and here it (finally) is:
Click any pick for the Brickshelf gallery, or click
here for the Mocpage.
I looked at Sorens Lying Bastard a lot while building, and tried to expand
on his Pirate color scheme, also using some of his gun muzzles and greebs.
Mladens work influenced the square-barrel gun and missile boxes. The
cockpit bears a resemblance to Trevor Prudens Orca dropship, and the
thruster shot is reminiscent of Keith Goldmans Ghoul. (Theres a joke
in there somewhere, I just know it.) I also used one of Paul Hartzogs chair
designs. I probably missed a credit here, so let me know if I used your idea
and didnt mention you.
I never thought Id use twelve of those AT-AT click hinges in one MOC, but
here you go.

This thing is pretty nice. It bothers me that it doesnt have any thruster pods
or engines at the front, but your techsplanation for that is acceptable. It
strikes me as a sort of space-only vessel, and looks pretty good for that.
Missiles are always fun, and I think the cockpit is a nice arrangement.
Honestly, the powered armor inside are almost a let-down, I expected something
bigger in those compartments, something that would barely fit into the space.
Good stuff.

I'm glad you liked it, Dan. I hope that cap ship you previewed is coming (...) (20 years ago, 20-Jan-05, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.space, FTX)
